Back in the day, I used to work for corporate America. Some jobs I loved, most jobs I hated even though I was well compensated, and thought well of. Corporate politics and games that affect your everyday life are just not worth any amount of money. I worked too hard, and went in on days like these. Blizzards.
Now when it snows out like this, I think how lucky I am that both me and my husband largely work out of the house. Both of us are able to arrange our schedules to avoid going out in days like this. While we may be working indoors, it's with a hot cup of chocolate and whipped cream.
Life is good.
